Dealing with self-doubt and judgement
In today's episode, Mattias shares about his episodes of self-doubt and what helps him to overcome these feelings.
Setting the bar high for yourself
Mattias knows the feeling of self-doubt very well. He experienced many situations when he felt like he wasn't good enough. When explaining what things cause these feelings, he refers to sportspeople. They want to perform exceptionally well and set the bars very high for themselves.
Mattias can relate to that and shares that he does the same thing when setting his own goals. He always has a very specific idea of how he wants things to be. If he can't live up to that, he starts to judge and doubt himself. This happens more easily when many things pile up in his private and business life and when he doesn't take good enough care of his health.
Cutting yourself some slack
For him, it works best to recognize these feelings and remember that he's a human being and that it is okay to feel this way sometimes. It's essential to push through regardless of these situations and continue to put one foot in front of the other.
Talking to people you can trust and acknowledging small victories along the way can also help to improve and, in some cases, prevent feelings of self-doubt.
💡 EPISODE TAKE AWAY
