Revenue and profit for 2020
This week Mattias was preparing his monthly CEO report for the board, in which he shares positive and negative insights as well as areas for improvement and implementing new strategies.
The positive stuff
On the positive side of things, Mattias mentions that iGoMoon has closed the books and filed for the fiscal year of 2020. The outcome was €200.000 less in revenue compared to 2019, but iGoMoon still managed to almost reach the same profit in 2020 as in 2019. Also, the numbers from March started to look a lot better than at the beginning of the year, where iGoMoon was bleeding about 60.000 Euro.
The not so positive stuff
One of the negative aspects he mentions in his report is the cases of Covid-19 at iGoMoon. Unfortunately, there were several colleagues who caught Corona and needed to recover. In addition, the team is a bit behind budget when it comes to sales meetings with new prospects.
IMPROVEMENT/STRATEGIES:
Speaking about improvements and strategies, Mattias shares that he wants to work on iGoMoon's positioning. He is currently reading an interesting book about nailing product positioning "Obviously Awesome" by April Dunford".
