A potential new customer
The week started with some great news on Monday. A Swedish company decided to go further in the process of choosing a new partner with Mattias’ agency iGoMoon. It takes pain to grow
Today's coaching session evokes some questions that lead to Mattias reflecting on his own professional journey. He shares that his personal growth has always been occurring simultaneously with some kind of emotional pain. He compares personal and professional (mental) development with going to the gym were one usually works on one's physical development. The famous words "no pain no gain" do not only apply to going to the Gym, according to Mattias. Often times when one dislikes something (like heavy weight lifting), one simply dislikes being bad at it, but doing things one is bad at is not just good - it is essential if one's goal is to grow. If one does not go out of one's way and make changes and experience new things, one will very likely not experience growth.
💡 EPISODE TAKE AWAY
Mattias experienced himself, that hating being bad at things was his personal stumbling block for most of his life. Doing things one is bad is essential for personal development and mental growth. If one doesn't challenge oneself and is open to learn and experience new things, one will never experience growth.
